The Rainbow Letters Exhibit
Join us at the Stewart Library during Fall 2022 to see the record of Northern Utah Queer History being built! We collected note cards from members of the community at Pride events in Davis and Weber counties. Come see what they said and add your own voice to the story.
Rainbow Letters is a collection of remarks from attendees of Northern Utah Pride Events, online survey responses, and the Ogden Rainbow Letters exhibit. The main questions asks "What would you like people in the future to know about being a member of the LGBTQ+ community in Northern Utah?" Other questions include:
How do you express your identity?
Have you ever felt different and why?
As a member or ally of the lgbtq+ community in northern Utah, what would you tell your younger self?
What does community mean to you?
What does it mean to belong?
The responses to the questions are collected on index cards and displayed on the first floor of the Stewart Library. We hope the exhibit and powerful responses can share insight on the thoughts of the community located in Davis, Morgan, and Weber counties and inspire future generations.
